Car Service at DCA Terminal A, B and C

Reagan National has no Terminal A, B or C any more. In June 2022 Terminal A became Terminal 1, and the old Concourse B/C building became Terminal 2. Two curbs, not three — and we meet you at the right one.

  • Terminal A → Terminal 1
  • Terminals B & C → Terminal 2
  • Gate numbers unchanged
  • Two pickup curbs
  • Parking 1 & Parking 2
  • Flight-tracked, 24/7

Your ticket says a letter. The road signs say a number.

That mismatch is the single most common reason a traveler ends up on the wrong curb at DCA. The airport finished Project Journey, a billion-dollar rebuild that added two security halls and a new concourse, and then renamed everything to match how other large airports label themselves.

Airlines switched to the new terminal and gate names on boarding passes and flight screens on 5 June 2022. Roadway, garage and Metro-entrance signs followed during the week of 6–10 June 2022. Older confirmation emails, corporate travel tools and printed itineraries never caught up, so “Terminal C” still circulates years later.

For a chauffeured pickup the fix is simple: tell us the airline, not the letter. Airline assignments did not change during the renaming, so the airline alone is enough to put the car at the correct terminal before you land.

If your paperwork still says A, B or C: send it to us as-is. We translate it against the current terminal assignment rather than asking you to work it out at the curb.

Five things travelers still get wrong

None of these are trivia. Each one sends somebody to the wrong door, and at an airport where the two terminal curbs sit a long walk apart, that is the difference between a two-minute pickup and a twenty-minute one.

Read the left side as what people still say, and the right side as what the signage actually shows today.

Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are served by the same dispatch and the same vehicles. Capacities below are the published figures from our fleet page, and bag counts assume full-size checked luggage rather than carry-ons.

DCA terminal letter questions

Is there still a Terminal C at Reagan National?

No. Terminal C no longer exists as a terminal name. Those gates are now Concourse C, which sits inside Terminal 2 along with Concourses B, D and E.

Why does my gate number now start with a letter?

When DCA renamed its terminals, gate numbers stayed exactly the same and the concourse letter was added in front. Gate 23 became Gate C23.

Did any airlines move when DCA renamed its terminals?

No. The airport stated that no gates were relocating and no airlines were moving. Only the names on signs, boarding passes and flight screens changed.

Which garage matches the old Terminal B and C?

Parking 2. The garages were renamed Parking 1 and Parking 2 to match the terminal numbers, while the Economy Parking Lot kept its original name.

Go straight to your terminal

Pickup at both terminals is on the outside curb — at Terminal 1, and at Terminal 2 on the Baggage Claim Level. The Cell Phone Lot is closed for construction, so our drivers stage in the garages, which are free for up to 60 minutes.
