Where your chauffeur meets you at DCA Terminal 2

Pre-arranged cars collect from the Baggage Claim (Arrivals) level, outer curb at Terminal 2. Come down to baggage claim, exit through the doors and cross at a marked crosswalk to the outer curb — your chauffeur will be waiting with the vehicle.

If you prefer, choose meet and greet at booking and your chauffeur waits inside at baggage claim holding a name sign, then walks you out and handles the luggage.

Every pickup is tied to your flight number. We track the aircraft through FlightAware, so an early arrival or a two-hour delay adjusts the pickup automatically — there is nothing for you to call in.

Meet and greet inside baggage claim, or straight to the outer curb — your choice at booking.

Two things are worth knowing before you land. Reagan National permits only authorised operators to pick up, and all limousine and sedan pickups must be pre-arranged in advance; airport regulations prohibit drivers soliciting passengers at the curb, so never accept a ride from someone who approaches you inside the terminal. And the DCA Cell Phone Lot is currently closed for construction, which is why we stage in the hourly garage, where the first 60 minutes are free, rather than circling the terminal roadway.

Terminal 2 was Terminal B/C until June 2022

If you were told to meet your car at Terminal B or Terminal C, you want Terminal 2. Reagan National renumbered its terminals on 5 June 2022: Terminal A became Terminal 1, and Terminals B and C were combined into Terminal 2. Gate numbers picked up a letter prefix at the same time, so the old gate 10 is now B10 and the old gate 23 is now C23.

No airlines moved and no gates moved — only the signage changed. Older booking confirmations, hotel shuttle instructions and printed guides still use the letters, which is why both sets of names remain in circulation. Your chauffeur works from your flight number, so either way you will be met in the right place.

Frequently asked

Is Delta in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 at DCA?

Terminal 2. Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue and United all operate from Terminal 2. Only Air Canada, Frontier and Southwest use Terminal 1.

What was DCA Terminal 2 called before?

Terminal B and Terminal C. The two were merged under the name Terminal 2 on 5 June 2022 as part of the airport’s signage update.

Where does a pre-arranged car service pick up at Terminal 2?

On the Baggage Claim (Arrivals) level at the outer curb. At Terminal 1 the equivalent pick-up point is the outside curb directly outside the terminal.

Can my driver wait in the cell phone lot at DCA?

Not at the moment — the DCA Cell Phone Lot is closed for construction. Our chauffeurs wait in the garage instead, which is free for the first 60 minutes, and move to the curb when you text that you have landed.
