DC ExecuCar meets Terminal 1 arrivals inside baggage claim with a name sign, and collects departures at the Terminal 1 entrance. Terminal 1 is the Air Canada, Frontier and Southwest terminal at Reagan National, with gates A1 through A9.

How pickup works at Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is the smaller of the two buildings at Reagan National and it has a single checkpoint, so arrivals and departures both move quickly. On arrival your chauffeur watches the inbound flight, parks in Parking 1 opposite the terminal, and walks in to meet you at baggage claim holding a sign with your name. You are not left standing at a rideshare pin, and you are not calling a dispatcher from the curb.
If you would rather go straight out, the Airports Authority directs personal vehicle pick-up to the outside curb at Terminal 1. Text us when you land and the car is waiting there instead. Either way the rate is agreed before you fly.
Departures are simpler still. We collect you at your door, track traffic on the George Washington Parkway, and drop at the Terminal 1 entrance next to the checkpoint rather than at the far end of the building.
Cell Phone Lot note. The DCA Cell Phone Lot is closed for construction. Our chauffeurs wait in the garage instead, which is free for the first 60 minutes, so there is no pressure to rush you out of the building.

Terminal 1 was Terminal A until June 2022
Reagan National renumbered its terminals on 5 June 2022 to match the convention used at most other airports. Terminal A became Terminal 1, and every gate gained a letter in front of its number. No airline and no gate physically moved — only the signs and the boarding passes changed.
That is why older directions, saved confirmations and even some map apps still say Terminal A. If your paperwork says Terminal A, or your gate is a bare single digit, you are flying from Terminal 1.

Which airlines fly out of DCA Terminal 1?
Air Canada, Frontier and Southwest. All three use gates A1 through A9. Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue and United are in Terminal 2.
Is Terminal 1 the same as the old Terminal A?
Yes. Terminal A was renamed Terminal 1 on 5 June 2022. No airlines or gates moved — it was a signage change only.
Which garage should my driver use for Terminal 1?
Parking 1, which faces Terminal 1. It is free for the first 60 minutes, which covers a normal meet-and-greet.
Do I meet the driver inside or at the curb?
Inside, at Terminal 1 baggage claim, with a name sign. If you prefer to walk straight out, we will meet you at the outside curb instead — just tell us when you book.
